She has a long experience in National and European projects on this topic such as NEED4B where she is responsible for the development of an open methodology for designing, constructing and operating new low energy buildings integrating approaches and methods like BIM, IPD, LCA and LCC with traditional scientific, technical, energetic and economic criteria.

Stefano Barberis, PhD (Male): he received his PhD in Turbomachinery and Energy Systems Engineering at University of Genova in 2016. He is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in renewable energy sources, project management, techno-economical feasibility studies, research activities on energy storage and renewable energy systems, due diligence, innovation and technology transfer. He is employed at D’Appolonia since September 2016 working in different European Project dealing with CHP, RES and energy efficiency with particular reference to innovation.

Federico Meneghello, MSc (Male): graduated in Materials Engineering with specialization in Advanced Materials and Fibres at Politecnico di Milano. He is currently Area Manager in the Industrial Innovation  division,  involved  as  task  and  project  management  in  industrial  and  FP7  projects mainly  concerning  technical  textiles  applications  (e.g.  Nu-Wave  and  TIIWS  FP7  projects).  Mr. Meneghello has also experience in materials selection and conceptual design development for technical applications. He will be the Exploitation Manager of the P2ENDURE project.

Fabrizio Tavaroli, MSc (Male): he is a Civil Engineer as well as a BREEAM International Assessor. Mr Tavaroli started his co-operation with D’Appolonia in 2003, while he is BREEAM International Assessor since 2011. Since 2003 he is involved in sustainable construction activities and activities aimed at the improvement of the energy performance of buildings as well as districts, among which there are several requalification projects, including of historic buildings and districts (e.g. the requalification of the ‘Castello’ district in the historic centre of Cagliari, Italy, toward a ‘green’ district, for which he has been responsible for both technical aspects as well as cost evaluation activities). His experience also includes BREEAM (New Construction and In-Use) certification activities (e.g. his first BREEAM certification has concerned a commercial/shopping mall in Italy for which he has further provided technical assistance and the management of the requalification project team). Mr Tavaroli is furthermore experienced in the definition of sustainable and energy efficient requalification strategies for public buildings (e.g. the Prosecution Office Buidling in Riyad) and in the energetic diagnosis and definition of interventions at plant end equipment level for the improvement of the energetic performance of buildings. He has also participated in the OPEN HOUSE project, which was dedicated at the establishment of a new common certification protocol for buildings.

Paolo Basso, PhD (Male): is a civil engineer with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Pavia where his research was mainly focused on Structural Optimization, Adaptive Structures and Smart Technologies. Since 2012, when he joined the Civil Division of D’Appolonia S.p.A., his experience has been focused on the structural design of a wide range of new built and refurbishment multi-disciplinary projects across Europe and Middle East. Besides the design activity, he actively participates to several R&D projects involving topics like BIM, SHM and Green Buildings.
