Value-chain integration through e-Marketplace

The main innovation enabled by the P2ENDURE e-Marketplace is the enlargement of the value-chain via integration of all partners into a new business model that helps to raise the profit of the partners by reducing construction errors and mistakes (e.g. the profit would raise if the costs of the failure removals are reduced). The integration of services –architects, engineers and other needed experts- is important to create a holistic offer. The result is an accurate and competitive package offer.

The e-Marketplace will be interfaced with a BIM-oriented procurement/tendering platform that facilitates multi-criteria decision making for optimizing the different offers to clients. At the implementation of deep renovation, this platform will support efficient management of the holistic material flow combined with targets in terms of costs, time and quality issues (e.g. order a window at the right time with the foreseen quality and steer the just-in-time delivery fitting to the needs of local production or prefab needs).​
