General Description

SGR’s core business is commercialization of natural gas and electric energy to private customers. SGR is also operating as Energy Service Company (ESCO) promoting energy retrofit interventions and global services on energy supplies, specifically in the residential sectors. The main activities of SGR are commercialization (purchase and selling) of electricity, heat and natural gas to private and industrial customers; commercialization of systems for the energy production and transformation, targeting energy saving and security; ESCo services, energy management and post-sales services; engineering services, design and management of power and heating powerhouses and renewable energy systems (RES).

Key Personnel and Relevant Expertise

Mauro Bettini (Male) is technical Specialist, director of the energy services and supply department. He is an expert in the field of energy efficiency, energy system powered by renewable sources, energy services and supply.
Alessio Cividini (Male) is an engineer, senior design and an expert in the MEP and H-VAC design (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing/ Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), refurbishment and retrofitting interventions, energy survey, technical and cost analysis.
Ricardo Rossi (Male) is technical specialist, senior design and an expert in the MEP and H-VAC design (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing/ Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), refurbishment and retrofitting interventions, energy survey, technical and cost analysis.
Roberto Di Giulio, Dr Arch. (Male) is an architect, with a Phd in "Technology of Architecture", Full Professor at the University of Ferrara, and Head of the Department of Architecture, where he teaches Construction Design. His research covers a broad range of issues from studies of industrialization of building process and building design methodologies to investigation on real estate’s maintenance and management. He has been actively participating in and jointly leading several European research projects. He wrote several books concerning building technologies, design methodologies and maintenance strategies and published extensively in professional journals and magazines.
Emanuele Piaia, PhD (Male) is an architect, with a Ph.D in "Technology of Architecture". He is Researcher at University of Ferrara - Department of Architecture where he teaches Construction Design and he is ‘senior consultants’ of SGR. His research interest includes building design, building process, innovation building technologies, cultural heritage, sustainable refurbishment and energy efficiency. He has been involved in several national and international research project as: INTERREG Project - Villas, Stately Homes and Castles; 7th FP EU-CHIC; COST TU0701 Improving the quality of suburban building areas; PRIN 2008 Refurbishment, regeneration and valorisation of the high density social housing settlement built in the second part of ‘900 in the suburban areas; H2020 - INSITER (On-going); H2020 – P2ENDURE (On-going). He is Technical Coordinator of the research project H2020 - INCEPTION (On-going).
