INTRODUCTION CONSORTIUM

Complementarity of partners in the whole construction value-chain

The P2Endure project is industry-oriented and driven by 16 partners: 13 industrial partners (8 SME + 5 IND), 2 higher-educational organisations, and 1 local government. SMEs (Small and medium-sized enterprises)  represent the largest group in the consortium; they play a key role, both in leadership of the project as well as in research, demonstration and exploitation.
The P2Endure consortium is composed to mobilise all key actors and disciplines in the building value-chain from design until realisation, and sustainable management and occupation of deep renovation projects. All industrial partners are successful in their disciplines, and thus able to mobilise their clients and business partners to ensure the market implementation of P2Endure results. P2Endure has the critical mass for succesful research and impacts.

EU dimension of the consortium appropriate for innovation actions

All main geographical regions of Europe (Western, Eastern, Central, Southern) with their climate-related, regional and cultural characteristics relevant for dedicated energy concepts and production conditions are covered by the P2Endure consortium, which represents the main Europe geo-clusters (West Europe – Germany and the Netherlands; Central Europe – Poland; Nordic – Denmark; Mediterranean – Italy). A yet wider coverage is represented by the stakeholders in the Technology Commercialization Platform (TCP). Generalisation and wide dissemination of the knowledge and project results are thus guaranteed. Moreover, there is a strong and proven commitment for teamwork since all partners have been engaged in collaborative projects with each other previously, in both research and development projects.
