The building typology of the dwellings is two and three storey dwellings with flat roofs. The dwelling morphology contains a concrete façade finished with concrete panels, concrete floor and roof. The current energy label of the buildings is G. The dwellings are built in 1975 and owned by a social housing cooperation. The repetition of this building typology is high in the project of 79 but also in the neighbourhood. Special is that the dwellings are renovated in a habited condition using fully prefabricated façade elements. The elements already contain the doors, windows and exterior and interior finishing’s.
The Rc-value of the facades is 5,00 m2K/W and HR++ glazing is applied. The elements are mounted on the dwellings in 1 day. Energy savings are expected to be 60% compared to the pre-renovated situation.
