D4.8: As-renovated BIM datasets for life
cycle management
Summary
The objective of WP4-Live demonstration projects is to bring the PnP prefab solutions on a Technical
Readiness Level 8 to practice, allowing direct testing and validation by the stakeholders of deep
renovation projects. This WP is focused mainly on proving efficiency and effectiveness of innovative
solutions and the 4M modular process (Mapping, Modelling, Making and Monitoring). Important
assumption of P2ENDURE is that the PnP products and systems can be applied and introduced to a wide
range of building typologies e.g. residential dwellings, hotels, public buildings like kindergartens or
nurseries located in different European countries. The goal is to use demonstration projects to convince
the building owners and local stakeholders that the construction process with the use of innovative PnP solutions can be time and cost efficient and contribute to a decrease of 60% of energy demand. Other
important benefits of P2ENDURE are: lower CO2 and embodied energy of components through value
engineering, higher health and safety for workers on-site and better quality of the final products.
This deliverable (D4.8) presents the as-renovated BIM datasets for each of the demonstration projects. The
as-renovated BIM datasets are the data base for the tool developed in D2.4. P2ENDURE Tool for energy
monitoring, LCC, asset management’ (RE Suite Asset management) to plan renovation activities, schedule
regular condition assessment and create a multi-year maintenance plan (MYMP) to schedule maintenance
on a regular basis and prevent the abovementioned costs of unexpected breakdowns of building
elements.
Demonstration projects are located in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Denmark and Germany and
represent different building typologies. The nature of the deliverable is “other”, therefore the scope of this
report is to describe the purpose and provide the evidence of performed activities, while the deliverable
comes in the form of an open research data repository with access to the as-renovated BIM-data sets.
