D8.1: POPD – Requirement no. 1
Summary
The present deliverable report D8.1 “POPD – Requirement no. 1” describes the ethical approach within the P2Endure project towards privacy and data protection. In the report detailed information is provided on the procedures that will be implemented for data collection, storage, protection, retention and destruction as well as describing how they comply with national and EU legislation. Its main aim is to provide guidance to the project Consortium on how appropriate safeguards are to be achieved with regard to ethical approvals for the collection of personal data and data protection issues that are relevant within this project.
Concerning the above the present deliverable report covers the following:
- Relevant definitions with respect to ethical, privacy and security issues;
- Procedures adopted within P2Endure for data collection, storage, protection and retention.
